It was confirmed on June 5 that, thanks to last October’s city-wide food drive, Winnipeg now officially holds the Guinness World Record for the most food collected in a 24-hour period!
The 2007 world-record food drive was kicked off with the Investors Group Canstruction Winnipeg project – an international competition combining a “design-and-build” project with a unique way to feed hungry people.
