About canstruction

What is Canstruction?

Investors Group Canstruction Winnipeg is an international competition combining the competitive spirit of a “design-and-build” project with a unique way to feed hungry people. It is part of a competition and food raising project currently held in over 110 cities around the world. Competing teams, lead by architects, engineers, designers and contractors, showcase their talents by designing giant sculptures made entirely out of canned foods, and at the conclusion of the exhibition, all of the food used in the sculptures is donated to local food banks.

People are also encouraged to visit the sculpture exhibition at Polo Park Shopping Centre from October 2 - 11 to vote for their favourite with cans of food.
